When playing against the US Bot, the victory conditions are identical to a two-player game. Also, the last card held by the US Bot must be played; it is never held or discarded.
If the US Bot performs an Operation using fewer OPS than are available on the card, the remaining OPS are used to perform a Special Operation type called Homeland Security. These extra OPS are typically used to Disrupt, perform a War of Ideas, or are added to the US Reserve.
The difficulty of the US Bot is one of six levels. Each higher level allows the Bot to become even more competitive by Alerting two plots in the same country, gaining more Prestige for Disruption, removing the ability of the Jihadist player to auto recruit in Islamist Rule countries, removing the ability for the Jihadist player to ignore US Associated events on their first Plot play, and ignoring negative DRM’s on War of Ideas. Players are encouraged to start the lowest level of difficulty (Off Guard) and then work their way up from there.
